For MD residents, the LISS Program can provide up to $1000 to assist eligible children and adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities with purchasing eligible services or items to address their needs.
Each of Maryland’s 24 jurisdictions implements a local Infants and Toddlers Program. Services are provided to eligible children at no cost to families. Click the link to make a referral.
Strong Start provides free early intervention services and supports to eligible children birth to 3 and their families who are DC residents. Click the link to make a referral.
Several universities in the region have training clinics where services are provided by speech-language pathology graduate students at a discounted rate.
